CIRCULAR

 

Dear HoS,

 

            Let me congratulate you on the success of your class XII students (list enclosed) in the Pahal Exam, 2008.  As promised, ‘PAHAL’ Classes begin on 15th November, 2008(Saturday).

 

            I would like to suggest you to take following steps immediately:-

 

(i)                  Notify the successful students.

 

(ii)                Intimate all the successful students about the place, timings, days for PAHAL CLASSES.

 

(iii)               Seek consent of each successful student (It is voluntary).

 

(iv)              Maintain full details of these selected students (Name of the student, father/mother, residence, contact no., emergency contact person (and phone no.) and furnish the same to the Director Education electronically on 14.11.2008 (by 11.00 am in case of morning shift schools and by 3.00 pm in case of evening shift ones).

 

(v)                Intimate on 14.11.08 (by 11 am in case of morning shift and by 3.00 pm in case of evening shift schools) the complete details (iii) and (iv) to the Head of the School, where the classes for PAHAL will run for your school. 

 

(vi)              Please note that a capsule course for Engineering and Medical Entrance Exam is also being prepared in condensed form.  Names of those Science Stream students, who wish to prepare for Engineering or Medical Entrance Exams, should be conveyed to the Headquarter by the HoSs electronically on 14.11.2008 (by 11.00 am in case of morning shift schools and by 3.00 pm in case of evening shift ones).

 

(vii)             All the concerned Heads of Schools are requested to ensure that the students of their respective schools as listed below are escorted by a teacher so as to reach the allotted Pahal Kendra by 02.30 PM on Saturday, 15.11.2008 for the inaugural-cum-introductory session.

Instructions for Heads of Schools of PAHAL Kendras:

I)       HOSs of Pahal Kendras(list enclosed) are required to make proper seating arrangement for the students and teachers.  They are also supposed to provide necessary infrastructure like furniture, projector and computer(for Powerpoint Presentation for the Inaugural-cum-Introductory session).

 

II)     HoSs of Pahal Kendras will maintain a separate attendance register for PAHAL students and monitor their progress with the help of teachers on each Saturday.

 

Further Instructions

 

I)                   PAHAL students should NOT be allowed to miss their regular school activities at any cost.

II)                 Take regular feedback from the Head of the School, where your student is going for PAHAL classes.

III)              All PAHAL material will be available online, which should be utilized by EVG Counsellors in the school and be disseminated amongst other students in the classes, at least, once a week.

IV)              The study material-cum-assignments for the students will also be made available at Pahal Kendras by the Headquarters.

 

I would like to impress upon you that this initiative needs your constant monitoring, supervision and guidance.  The project is in its nascent stage and, therefore, it needs to be nurtured with great care.  Its success in future will help in facilitating our students embark on rewarding professional careers.
