Laminated Sheets          Durable Tools for Revising Terminology

               Science  terminology can be difficult for
               students, especially when it involves complex
               or unfamiliar words.  To address  this, I
               create laminated sheets containing  key
               terms and definitions, organized by topic.
               These sheets serve as durable reference
               tools  that students can use  repeatedly for
               revision. For instance, during a unit on
               chemical  reactions,  I provide laminated
               sheets with difficult words to remember
               and practice, The durability of these sheets
               ensures they can be used throughout the year, making them a practical resource for
               continuous learning.

              DART (Directed Activities Related to Text)                 Enhancing Comprehension

                                           DART activities have been instrumental in improving students’
                                           reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. These activities
                                           involve tasks such as close procedures, text marking, and diagram
                                           completion, which encourage students to interact with scientific
                                           texts more deeply. When teaching topics like Motion and Time, I
                                           use DART to guide students in analysing and
                                           interpreting scientific information.  By  engaging with the text
                                           actively, students develop a better understanding of complex
                                           concepts and learn to extract essential information, which is
                                           crucial for mastering science.



               A Dynamic Approach to Science Education


               By integrating these diverse techniques into my teaching
               practice, I’ve created a dynamic and engaging learning
               environment where science is simplified and accessible
               to all students. Each method, whether it is using flash
               cards for active recall, pinwheels for visual learning, or
               working models for experiential understanding, plays a
               crucial role in demystifying science. These tools not only
               make learning more enjoyable but  also empower
               students to develop a                deeper, more  mean-
