A Student’s Story
Priya, a 15-year-old student from Bangalore, started a campaign called “Breath of Fresh
Air” in her school. She led initiatives like carpooling days, planting 1,000 trees, and
teaching peers about air pollution. Her efforts inspired the local community to adopt
greener practices, showcasing how small actions can make a big difference.
Conclusion
Air pollution is not just an environmental issue; it is a public health emergency. To
achieve SDG 11 and ensure a sustainable future, collective efforts from governments,
organizations, and individuals are crucial. By adopting clean energy, increasing green
spaces, and promoting awareness, we can create cities where clean air and
green spaces are accessible to all.
