Generally science students are thought to be preparing for entrance exams such as engineering
(JEE) or medical (NEET). but many students in today’s time opting for science are not
interested in any of these and are looking for something new and adventurous to opt for as
their career. Interestingly, many of them are unaware about the wide variety of career
options available in science field. And in this article I am going to describe HOW TO
BECOME A FORENSIC SCIENTIST
WHAT IS FORENSIC SCIENCE?
It is a field where scientific methods are applied to gain evidences for criminal investigation. These
evidences are presented in courts and help to solve crimes. These cases can be of trafficking,
murder, drugs etc. The work includes taking and assessing fingerprints, matching DNA samples,
autopsy, recreating crime scenes and developing relationships between evidences and providing a
concise and sure conclusion about the evidences found.
