This time we used a yellow variety of Lantana hence
for future studies red or purple flower variety can be
used. Antimicrobial activity of leaf extracts can be
tested on common fungi. Using the herbs would be
environmental friendly, non- chemical, low cost and
an easy method to delay microbial infection and
increase shelf life of the sprouts. Later ‘Sanitizing
wipes’ for sanitizing surfaces and ‘Sanitizing Tissue’
can be developed for packing lunch instead of
aluminum foil.
