Amrit Udyan

An epitome of enduring happiness

“Every Child is a different kind of flower and all
together they make this world a beautiful garden”.

V isits are powerful learning experiences
which paves the way for the neurons in
the brain to develop and grow faster.

Students of 6 th & 7 th class from
968 Govt. schools of Delhi visited Amrit
Udyan (Formerly known as Mughal
Garden) at Rashtrapati Bhawan. This visit
was a part of the ongoing celebration of 75
years of Independence.

Hon’ble President of India Smt.
Droupadi Murmu has invited the
studentsto Udyan Utsav-1, 2023 and
Directorate of Education honored the
invitation and decided to send 6 th
& 7 th class students (The most
anxious group).

Science Branch under the able guid-
ance of Madam Zareen Taj, Addl. DE
and Dr. Sudhakar Gaikwad, DDE
Science, took this initiative further and
constituted district teams! District DDEs
organized the visits of students by
deputing District Coordinators. State
Coordinator Ms. Rumi Deori, Vice Principal
(Science Branch) was coordinating the
initiative at the state level! Students
visited the Udhyan from 9 th Feb, 2023
onwards, when the blooming season
was on peak!
