visited the Amrit
Udyan. The
whole idea was to
encourage young
students’s love for
science and build
scientific
temperament
through these
visits.

Students were
thrilled and excited
when they saw the
herbal garden
which had many
medicinal and
aromatic plants
followed by Bonsai
Garden. They were
excited to see
musical fountains. They had a close contact
with flowers of more than 200 varieties of
Rose, Tulips, Asiatic Lilies, Ornamental
flowers etc.

‘Amrit’ is a Sanskrit word associated
with nectar, and ‘Udyan’ means garden. As
flowers bloom in the garden, different
honey bees flock to this paradise to collect
the nectar and in return help in pollination
After the visit the students were asked to
give feedback! They expressed them-
selves through report writing, paintings,
poems and photographs
that are now proudly
displayed on bulletin board
in their school corridors!
