Acid Base Test by using various natural and synthetic indicators

To test acids, bases, and their color changes with various indicators, we conduct several
engaging activities in class. We use natural indicators like red cabbage, hibiscus flower
extract, red and blue Litmus, turmeric, and synthetic indicators like phenolphthalein and
methyl orange. Students actively participate by experimenting with these indicators to
observe color changes when exposed to acids and bases. Students create unique artwork
using bases and turmeric, where the color shifts upon reaction, making the learning experience
both creative and educational.

Using Electrical Circuit, test of different items for

conductors and insulators

Using an electrical circuit,
we conduct experiments to
test various items for their
conductivity. Students
learn to identify conductors
and insulators by
incorporating different
objects into the circuit and
observing whether they
allow electric current to
pass through. This
hands-on activity provides
a clear understanding of
the properties of conductors
and insulators, enhancing their grasp of basic electrical principles.
